Why is project design necessary?

Why is project design important? Developing a logistically efficient solution with a strong focus on ergonomics is essential to enable staff to concentrate on the quality of the products offered, while minimizing both physical and mental strain.

The first step is to clarify the business concept and prepare a plan. If you have already had a consultation with our staff and learned that a project or architectural design is required, you will find some additional useful information on the topic here.

A project is not necessary for every equipment purchase — this usually applies only when buying individual units, not when setting up an entire facility or carrying out a reconstruction. Underestimating proper project design or rejecting professional consultation does not always pay off.

To ensure we deliver high-quality designs, layouts, and visualizations, our team consists not only of designers and architects — depending on the needs, our business specialists, service technicians, and chefs also participate in consultations, and we occasionally involve operations managers as well.

Project design in 3 steps:

We prepare the layout design in three formats: DWG (AutoCAD), PDF, and 2D preview.

First, we focus on creating operational workflows and logistics for individual components (goods receiving, storage, raw food preparation, cooking, meal serving, dishwashing of tableware and kitchenware, and establishing staff facilities), all with maximum attention to efficiency, safety, ergonomics, and hygiene requirements.

After all research corrections and approval of the final version, we complete the layout solution with the specification of machines and equipment, with precise determination of performance parameters.

From the final project, we create detailed technical drawings for each trade (electrical, gas, plumbing, and HVAC), clearly indicating all connection points for the specified technology.

What do you gain from project design?

In addition to the layout design, a final technical report is also prepared for the relevant authorities, primarily for hygiene approval. Despite the fact that the designers take into account all necessary standards and regulations when designing, before starting the actual implementation, the proposed layout solution must be consulted with the local regional public health authority.

You have full flexibility with the prepared documentation  — you can use it in communication with other companies or with authorities during the approval process.
